Plunged Back In!

About a week ago I posted here on Barchart a piece entitled, “Cleared The Slate Today.” I pointed out that after being long corn and soybeans from as far back as October I exited those trades. But earlier this week I plunged back to the long side of soybeans and bull spreads. And on the close of yesterday, Friday, soybean futures ended at a new, contract high close with the bulls spreads also at a new high. Now, I await the opening Sunday night and the all important WASDE report on Tuesday.

My most recent newspaper column is entitled, It’s all looking one way for commodities.” The newspapers that have been kind enough to publish my column, my ramblings without interruption since the early 1980’s received my column yesterday. Those that subscribe to my twice a day newsletter Commodity Insite received it this morning as did those that recently purchased my book, Haunted By Markets. If you would like a copy of my most recent column drop me a line.

And a Special Offer regarding my newsletter can be found at commodityinsite.com. Check it out!

The week ahead will be quite volatile and possibly quite bullish. It depends on the weather forecasts in South America and the WASDE report. Buckle up. Use a stop. And stay the course!
